A draw to promote person-centered, family-centered care contributed to her active role in advance care planning. She was instrumental in the development and systemwide implementation of all three stages of Respecting Choices advance care planning system within a large health system. She actively contributed to the development and instruction of the Respecting Choices Shared Decision Making in Serious Illness (SDMSI) curriculum for provider professional development.
